Biometrics Research Week

Following the first part of the Darmstadt Biometrics Week in September, the Darmstadt Biometrics Week – Research will take place from November 24 to 26, 2026, marking the first dedicated scientific event series hosted at Fraunhofer IGD.

The event offers leading experts from academia, industry, and government agencies the opportunity to exchange ideas on current research findings, innovative technologies, and future developments in the field of biometrics. A key highlight is the 25th International Conference of the Biometrics Special Interest Group (BIOSIG 2026), which brings together international researchers and professionals to discuss the latest scientific advances and applications in biometric technologies.
