The Career Night has become an integral part of the calendar of the Fraunhofer Institutes in Darmstadt. In a relaxed atmosphere, we offer students insights into the world of applied sciences. Whether mechanical engineers, computer scientists, or electrical engineers – in 2018 we once again welcomed an exciting mix from across the entire STEM spectrum at Fraunhofer SIT. Was it because of our program? After all, in addition to specialist lectures, we also offered challenging hacking tasks, excursions into virtual reality with the HoloLens, and much more. This also impressed the jury of the Human Resources Awards 2018: our event made it onto the shortlist of the four best recruiting events.

We would like to sincerely thank all participants and are delighted that our event succeeded in inspiring 12 young people to pursue their research careers with us. Now we’re ready for 2019!
