ATHENE: Mission “Next Generation Biometrics” – Project “Embedded Biometric”

The main objective of the “Embedded Biometrics” project is to enable a wider implementation of biometric technologies in the embedded domains and the use-cases that are constrained by the computational capabilities, as well as environmental and deployment limitations.

In this project, we develop and evaluate biometric recognition solutions that are suitable for embedded system applications from the perspective of model size and performance.
