The Project Advisory Committee (PA) Meeting is part of the 3D-Quality project, a joint research project of Fraunhofer IGD and Fogra Forschungsinstitut für Medientechnologien. The meeting will provide an overview of the current project status and present research results on quality control for graphic 3D printing, including 2D and 3D image quality metrics, volumetric rendering for 3D softproofing and AI-based image quality assessment.

As a continuation of the workshop “Shaping the Future with AI – From Idea to Business Model,” the focus will be on deepening the understanding of legal, security-related, and ethical aspects of AI. Using the AI Act, the GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks as examples, participants will learn how AI applications and business models can be designed in compliance with legal requirements from the initial idea to market launch, operated in accordance with data protection regulations, and supported by effective governance and risk management.

Fraunhofer IGD invites you to the third workshop of the “Center for Applied Quantum Computing” on November 4, 2026. At the workshop, representatives from research and industry will present their activities in the field of applied quantum computing. This time, the focus will be on providers and developers of quantum computing hardware and software. The workshop will take place at Fraunhofer IGD on November 4, starting at 1:00 p.m. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
