Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGDThe Selected Readings present scientific publications from Fraunhofer IGD that are of particular relevance in the field of Visual Computing and provide a concise overview of the most important developments and research results of a year. The selected works come from Fraunhofer IGD with locations in Darmstadt and Rostock, the partner institute in Austria, as well as from university research groups with which Fraunhofer IGD collaborates closely. These include:
- the research groups Graphical-Interactive Systems and Mathematical and Applied Visual Computing at Technische Universität Darmstadt,
- the Department of Maritime Graphics at the Institute for Visual and Analytic Computing at Universität Rostock,
- as well as the Institute of Computer Graphics and Knowledge Visualization at Technische Universität Graz.
All of the publications presented have previously appeared in recognised scientific journals, books, conference proceedings or workshops. They underwent a rigorous review process by leading international experts.
The Selected Readings are compiled by Prof. Dr. Arjan Kuijper, Research Coach at Fraunhofer IGD and Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematical and Applied Visual Computing Group, at Darmstadt Technical University.
