Hendrik M. Würz is a research associate in the field of Infrastructure and Public Services. His research focuses on the distributed processing of large volumes of data and the architecture of cloud systems. In various projects, he supports the training of neural networks through scalable infrastructures.
Mr. Würz has experience in the distributed processing of geospatial data for analysis and visualization. This includes both the large-scale processing of terrain data and the modeling of individual buildings.
He studied Computer Science and Visual Computing at the Technical University of Darmstadt until 2020. In his master’s thesis, he focused on the migration of monolithic systems to the cloud. Since November 2020, he has been working as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD.
