Vita

From 1987 to 2006 José Luis Encarnação was the founding director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics IGD in Darmstadt. Since 1975 he was a full professor of Computer Science at the Technische Universität Darmstadt and the head of the Interactive Graphics Research Group (GRIS). Since October 2009 he is Professor Emeritus of the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
