Dear Students,
Fraunhofer IGD's competence center for "Interactive Engineering Technologies" offers you the opportunity to write your bachelor, master or diploma thesis within the framework of its four research fields "Geometry Processing", "Simulated Reality", "Semantic 3D Media" and "Rendering".
The theses are typically involved in our current research and industry projects. Your work will contribute to the excellence of research in Germany and the EU. If your thesis is outstanding, you will have the opportunity to present it at international conferences. Thanks to the excellent reputation of Fraunhofer IGD, writing your thesis in our house is an excellent addition to your CV. Here you can promote professional contacts and open the door to a career within the Fraunhofer society.
You should have basic skills in at least two out of the following areas:
- TU Darmstadt lectures - GDV or CAD/CAE
- OpenGL/Direct3D graphics programming
- Games programming
- Methods of scientic visualization
- CUDA/OpenCL programming
- Methods of computer vision
- C/C++ basics
- DHTML, HTML5, JavaScript, WebGL
